Victoria Seamon, MA, LPCC

Victoria is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and cancer survivor.  “When life throws the unexpected your way, you can run to it or run from it.”  Victoria continues to run to it as she lives in her purpose and supports others as they navigate life’s challenges.  Victoria has been working with children, adolescents, and families for over 8 years.  She holds the belief that we heal through relationships and that it takes one caring adult to impact the life of a child.

Victoria’s professional philosophy is meeting the client where they are at and providing hope in a situation where others may feel hopeless.  As we heal from trauma, Victoria likes to keep in mind that “It may not be going back to who we were, but learning how to adapt to who we are becoming and creating new versions of ourselves.”  Victoria is committed to serving others and helping them along their journey towards healing.

Victoria has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hamline University and a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling from Adler Graduate School.  Victoria has professional experience in residential and day treatment settings. Knowledge in delivering culturally competent therapy, skills, and behavioral management services to children and adults. In addition, Victoria is trained in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

As a cancer survivor, Victoria has a passion for supporting those impacted by cancer and loved ones impacted as well.  Outside of work Victoria is an active member in the cancer community.  She advocates for others; building awareness on healthcare disparities and ways to alleviate the financial burden of a cancer diagnosis.  Victoria also enjoys cooking, travel, music & movies, and playing pickleball.
