Healing In Practice

Healing In Practice (HIP) was created to address the need for community support in assisting youth with their personal development. The first pilot launched in the summer of 2023, and we are currently preparing for our third official round of a 12-week intensive mentorship program for Black and Brown boys. We currently have three Wellness Coaches who co-facilitate group skill-building sessions while collaborating with Black and Brown leaders across the Twin Cities to foster positive relationships and support for our youth.

About HIP:

HIP focuses on providing a space for youth to define their identity both independently and in relation to the world. The program helps them develop healthy practices to manage their well-being, connect with positive community members, and cultivate skills for conflict resolution, both internally and with their peers.

This program is free for families to participate in, offering monthly incentives to support youth and help build the best possible relationships for them.
