Katie KussardKatie has been providing individual, couples, and family therapy at Kente’ Circle for four years.  She believes strongly that it is through relationships that change occurs.  She also strives to highlight her client’s strengths in order to empower them to create the change that they desire for their family/life.  Katie takes a nurturing yet challenging approach when working with clients and prides herself on validating her client’s experience while offering alternative ways of seeing the world.

Kelly Kowalsky, MA, LAMFT

Kelly KowalskyKelly has prior experience serving the community through her work with divorce mediation, developmentally disabled populations, and mentoring and working with children.  Kelly has expanded her career by serving families, couples, and individuals at Kente’ Circle.  Her theoretical orientation stems from a humanistic and systemic view on personal identity and relationships, while focusing on cultural influences within individuals, couples, and families.  Kelly takes a nurturing and Person-Centered approach when working with her clients, acknowledging client’s strengths and helping to enhance their relationships.

Leon Rankin, LMFT

Leon RankinLeon Rankin has worked in the field of counseling and mental health for over 20 years. He is committed to helping individuals, couples, and families in the healing process. His professional, multi-cultural and philosophical approach is a belief in growth and healing through relationship building. He is grounded primarily in integrative and systemic thinking as related to his therapeutic approach. Leon pays close attention to the client’s needs, beliefs and strengths, in order to help provide a positive outcome.

Brandon Holland
Mental Health Practitioner

Leon RankinBrandon graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and furthered his education by obtaining a Master’s in Social Work with a focus in Interpersonal Practice and Mental Health. Brandon is currently in the process of completing his Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology. He has previous experience with doing individual psychotherapy in Community Mental Health (CMH) settings as well as University clinical settings. He is staunch in valuing client’s strengths and cultural backgrounds, which is influential in his work. Since adopting the philosophy and practices of Kente Circle, Brandon continues to value therapy at all levels of the community and strives to promote mental well-being.
