Argosy University - Twin Cities Campus
Kente is a member of the Argosy University Family Center www.argosy.edu/locations/twin-cities/. This is a collaboration facilitated by Argosy University and several Mental Health agencies in the greater Twin Cities metropolitan area. These partnerships focus on providing practicum experiences and training Marriage and Family Therapy Students. Kente has maintained a relationship with Argosy University since 2004.
Dakota County
Kente has three different contracts to provide court ordered services for youth between the ages of 13 and 19. Our staff conducts groups and individual counseling services at the Dakota County Juvenile Service Center.
Children and Family Social Services refer clients who are in need of culturally specific providers to address unique cultural needs. These services are primarily provided in-home.
Community Reintegration Support is a service that involves children who have been detained at a juvenile detention center. These services are tailored specifically to African American youth and their families.
Kente Circle's Functional Family Therapy team receives referrals through Hennepin County Department of Community Corrections and Hennepin County Social Services and functions as a part of a larger team of partners including: HSI New Generations www.hsicares.org and Volunteers of America www.voamn.org. FFT Inc. www.fftinc.com trains, consults and provides quality assurance for the FFT Program.
St. Mary's University - Twin Cities Campus

We also collaborate with Sanctuary Covenant Church www.sanctuarycov.org/, and other community organizations such as Council on Crime and Justice, Change Inc., Relationships Inc. www.relationshipsllc.com/, and Sabathani Community Center www.sabathani.org/. We pride ourselves on partnering with other agencies to ensure that all of our clients’ needs are met, and to reduce duplication of services.
